Get ready to lace up your running shoes and join the community for a fun and meaningful event! On August 4, Bongaree Dental and Banksia Beach Dental are hosting a 5km Fun Run/Walk at Sunset Park to raise funds for Variety – the Children’s Charity. This event is an excellent opportunity to support Aussie kids who are sick, disadvantaged, or have a disability.
The fun run will kick off at 9am, with participants asked to arrive by 8:45 am for a group photo and a few words from Variety representatives. The scenic route through Sunset Park promises a delightful experience for runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels. After completing the course, everyone is invited to enjoy a sausage sizzle, with sausages generously donated by Avondale Meats, Banksia Beach. A gold coin donation for the sausage sizzle will go directly to Variety, adding to the fundraising efforts.
Variety – the Children’s Charity is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering children and their families who face significant challenges. They deliver support through grants, services, scholarships, programs, and kids’ events, helping children gain mobility, participate in community activities, communicate, and achieve independence.
