Join an engaging afternoon with zoologist, bird aficionado, and solo aviator Milly Formby, as wildlife and adventure are explored! Discover Milly’s passion for shorebirds and why she’s embarked on a journey to circumnavigate Australia in her compact aircraft.
Milly is committed to protecting shorebirds and raising awareness about these resilient creatures, which travel 12,000 km from the Arctic to spend the summer in Australia. Their roost sites can be found on Bribie Island, near Toorbul, and at other essential Ramsar-listed locations around Moreton Bay.
